If You Don’t Know HTML find Out How A Blog Can Be Your Answer to a Web Site

Are You Under Estimating the Power Of Blog Marketing?
by Debbie Ducker

Are you leaving huge amounts of generated traffic behind by not utilizing the power of blog marketing? IMHO… Yes!

You have heard all the buzz but is having your own blog really all it is cracked up to be?

Look at some of the, often un-noticed, benefits below and decide for yourself if you could be generating tons more traffic to your sites on-line by having a marketing blog.

Blogs Are Good for ANY Niche - This one may seem obvious, and not much un-noticed, except for the fact that people really do not get it. The power of a blog can help you get traffic to even the most unheard of niches. I don’t care if you are into how to paint a turtle’s toe nails or the finite creating of ant hills! Blogs can help you reach out to any and all that are interested in the same things you are. It will amaze you what your blog will get found on in your particular niche. Do a blog set up right, carry through with some simple constant content creation and add it to the blog on a regular basis and the traffic will come, I guarantee it.

Blogs Create Instant Traffic - Another benefit that seems obvious. However, again, you may not realize just how much instant traffic you can get with your blog. Working with various blog and ping directories can create 100’s of hits just from one blog post. Think what you can get daily with a few good quality keyword rich posts based on the topic / niche of your blog!

Blogs Are Ready-Made Web sites - the blog software used to run the blog makes it extremely easy for those that don’t know HTML to have a complete web site. Once set up, in addition to easy posting of your content, you can also add entire web pages containing whatever you want to put on them… Contact forms, Refer a friend scripts, resources related to the topic of your blog and so on… With minimal if any HTML knowledge needed.

Blogs Create Communities - A community where everyone is interested in the same topic and goals related to that topic. (Provided the blog owner has done a good job of keeping the blog focused on one topic.) Don’t under estimate what this can do for your business. Meeting the right connections at the right time can sky rocket your success.

Blogs Reflect You - Sure you can put up a blog and auto-feed it with content from other people. But the real beauty of having your own blog is it gives you an outlet to let people get to know who YOU are. You can write about anything you like and let the world know what knowledge you contain. Many get lost in the blog marketing concept and forget to just be themselves. If you see something great that day put it on your blog. Ideally it will be about your niche since that is what you are passionate about. But there are no “set in cement” rules about what you post on your blog.

One of my favorite quotes or snippets of information if you will, that I have ran onto during my research of blogging is this ” Weblog owners in the original traditions truly knew how to bring a feast of discussion to the tables of all who stopped by.”

A weblog originally pointed the way to other articles, sources, and resources (some quite obscure) on the Internet. Even more than this, it brought unity to several of these sources and even resolved arguments based upon them. Everything from politics to world hunger was up for discussion with their many facets and differences in opinion worldwide. (Anyone that had a teenager in the mid to late nineties witnessed this first hand.)

Never forget how diverse and even versatile a blog can be and always try to make it reflect you!

However a word of warning for those strictly trying to utilize blog marketing, while keeping it fun never let it stray too much from your focus either, that is your niche. This is the one thing that will define your blog and keep a quality community of people interested in what you have to say.

Sincerely, Debbie Ducker

Do Not Buy Disc Mojo Until You Read This!

Saturday 28 June 2008 @ 2:52 pm

Disc Mojo  software gets an A+ for its functionality, use, money making potential, and a very low price. If you are tired of editing hundred lines of code setting up a PHP code and want to setup a “highly-profitable-set-and-forget-business” in the next few minutes read on…

http://www.duckerpromotion.com/presents/discmojo

Do you hundreds of digital products being launched everyday?

DO you thousands of PLR products being rehashed and sold as new?

I’m sure you have…

It is a proven fact that  the conversion rates of digital products have been dropping steadily over the years and is soon to reach a rock bottom. Why? Because people no longer want to read plain, bland and boring pages of text. People want multimedia/tangible products which they could achieve in their collection and refer back to it when needed.

Thus, if you noticed the big launches recently, most gurus are selling physical products.

There are two reasons for this:

1. Physical products have a high perceived value and sell for much higher prices than digital products.
2. Physical products have very low refund rates and almost always keep your customers satisfied!

So how do you sell physical products as easily as digital products without spending hours trying to package, label and ship the products?
Now you can… HOW?

Let me introduce you to DiscMojo, a brand new software that allows you to ship your physical CDs/DVD’s to the doorstep of your customers anywhere around the world. All this can be done in a couple of minutes. This is the only software in the market which comes in software format (rather than a hard-to-use PHP script) which can be setup within minutes.

For more details check here:

http://www.duckerpromotion.com/presents/discmojo

This software has my highest recommendation because it opens up a new window of opportunity for all those marketers who are looking for a new income stream. In addition, the software comes for a KILLER low price!

If you want to start a highly profitable new income stream within minutes, this software is for you.

Designing your own web site…

Thursday 26 June 2008 @ 2:51 pm

Important Tips For Designing Your Own Web Site
by Debbie Ducker

Designing your own web site can save you a lot of money for sure. However you will need to consider a few things before getting started.

1. You must, at the very least, be able to write simple HTML.

Then under the above heading here are just a few of the most important things you will have to consider.

A. Your page must validate properly, according to W3C, standards at: http://validator.w3.org/
(Read about what the W3C is: http://www.w3.org/Consortium/) If your page doesn’t pass this validation, then you must learn how to make it do so, by following their guidelines for each error. Many people pooh, pooh this as not important. But trust me, this is the most important step. Because it assures all visitors, no matter what type of operating system, browser, level of computer system, etc. they are using, will be able to see and use your site as you intended. I didn’t always know this and so am having to do a lot of back tracking on my site to fix things. It would be much easier just to do it as you create the site. Trust me on that one. :)

B. Your site must be uniform in looks and working ability across at least the most common browsers.
I challenge anyone that has designed or attempted to design their own website to compare what it looks like in both an I.E. Browser and a mozilla type Browser such as FireFox. You will not only be amazed at the differences but also unfortunately will be very frustrated before you are through trying to figure out how to get one thing to work in one that won’t in the other and visa versa! These are the two most common type browsers and the only two I compare my sites in, because quite frankly I would go stark raving mad if I tried any others! :) Luckily these two types of browsers are the ones most others are based on. So if you can get your site working in both you should not run onto any problems with any others out there. If you do then just do a search for the problem and you should find trouble shooting help for your particular problem.

C. Another area, of making your site uniform, is the different size monitors and resolutions used.
This can be reached fairly, satisfactory by changing the resolution on your own computer and comparing your web site pages.

D. Then you must also consider page speed, when down loading it over the Internet, as well. Ensuring you take all steps to optimize both the amount of text on the pages and the size of the images. So that the majority of people with various connection speeds can download your site’s pages in a reasonable amount of time.

2. If you want your site to have at least simple interaction, such as contacting you via a form or filling out a survey, etc., you will need to learn how to create forms. These are fairly simple and can be learned on the resources listed in the next paragraph about learning basic HTML. As you advance, in your learning process, you can even delve into other more complicated options for making your site interactive, such as Java Script, CGI and Perl, PHP and more…

I am not saying designing your own web site cannot be done. With the right determination and a little learning just about any one can do it. That is exactly what I had to do as a beginner in 1997 and continue to do to this day. Most of us cannot afford to hire a designer who’s going rate is between $45.00-$100.00 or more an hour. Just be prepared to do your home work and learn what you don’t already know. There are many fabulous sites for learning HTML. Starting with the W3C’s own documentation on HyperText Markup Language (HTML): http://www.w3.org/MarkUp/ and one of the most popular sites for HTML help: http://www.htmlgoodies.com/

SEO Should Be A Critical Element of Your Internet Marketing Strategy

Wednesday 25 June 2008 @ 2:32 pm

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) a Critical Element of any Internet Marketing Strategy
by Debbie Ducker

Search engine optimization (SEO) should be considered a critical element of any Internet marketing strategy. Because there is so much that can be gained from SEO in terms of Internet marketing and advertising. Failure to optimize your website for search engines can result in a considerable loss in terms of free advertising which is essentially gained from ranking well with search engines. This article will provide insight into what SEO is and will explain why Internet marketing requires at least some degree of SEO.

SEO is a strategy in which a website is designed to obtain favorable search engine rankings from popular search engines. This may be achieved in a variety of different ways and optimal SEO strategies combine a variety of different strategies to complete one well orchestrated SEO campaign.

There are several elements to consider when attempting to optimize your website for search engines. Some of which are keyword density, prominence, META tags, titles and inbound links.

Keyword density is one of the most common SEO strategies and essentially refers to the number of times a particular keywords are used in the content of your website in an attempt to demonstrate the relevance of these keywords to the website. This is important because search engines are likely to reward websites with optimal keyword densities with favorable search engine rankings in an effort to provide Internet users with the most relevant websites for particular search terms. However, overuse of that keyword may result in penalties to the website if the search engine deemed the keywords are not being used appropriately.

The prominence of keywords should also be considered. This includes how close the keywords are placed to the beginning of the website. The common mistake with this strategy is to believe the first opportunity to incorporate keywords is in the first line of visible text on the webpage. This is not true because search engines crawl the code of a website as opposed to the visible content on the website.

This means there are other opportunities to incorporate relevant keywords long before the actual visible content on the website. Such as the code for the title and also the META tags. META tags are pieces of HTML code which some search engines use in evaluating the content of a website. Placing keywords in these tags can be beneficial in some search engines. However, care should be taken to avoid placing irrelevant keywords in these tags as this may result in your website being penalized. There is much potential gain for incorporating keywords into the code in addition to the content on your website.

Another area of concern which is very important for those who are interested in SEO is inbound links. Inbound links are essentially links which reside on other websites and direct traffic to your website. These links are considered important because many search engines place a value on inbound links because they are essentially an example of one website recommending another website. However, when obtaining inbound links it is important to do so from other websites which rank well with search engines because many search engines consider the rank of the original website when determining the value of the inbound link.

Finally, the content on your website can do a great deal to bolster your search engine rankings. The more quality content the better ranking you can reach.

The basic rule of thumb is don’t try to fool mother nature. Keep everything on each page consistent. Match the content with what you have put in the Title and Meta Tags. Honesty is always the best policy here and most tricks that are tried will only get you a lower ranking or worse yet banned from the search engines.

Once you ever get a high rankng page in the search engines as a result of your carefully laid out SEO, you will quickly see for yourself how essential it is to take the time to do this for each page you create.

Well known search engines such as Google rank websites according to complex algorithms which are designed to determine which websites are most relevant for particular search terms. Therefore taking the time and effort to optimize your website for relevant search terms can result in you being rewarded with high search engine rankings for these terms. This is important because most Internet users rely heavily on these rankings. It is not uncommon for Internet users to only review the first few results when they search for a particular term. This means if your website ranks high enough to appear on the first page of the search results you will enjoy increased website traffic. However, if your website doesn’t make it to the first page or even the second page, it is unlikely you will receive a great deal of website traffic from visitors who use search engines.

So if you haven’t already, get going now on optimizing your websites. Don’t miss out on this huge potential for free web traffic.

Sincerely, Debbie Ducker

Creating Your Own Website to Resell Private Label Rights Products

Monday 23 June 2008 @ 3:21 pm

The Benefits to Creating Your Own Website to Resell Private Label Rights Products
by Debbie Ducker

In the United States, many individuals are making money through a process that is known as reselling of private label rights products.  Private label rights is a special type of business opportunity.  It is an opportunity that has a lot of potential; however, to be successful, you must first know what you are doing.

Private label resell rights are available on a wide variety of different products. Despite the wide variety of different products, e-books and software programs are the most popular. With private label resell rights, the original product creator either does not have the time or the money needed to market and sell their product. Instead of selling their product to prospective customers, they sell the rights to someone who has knowledge and the time to sell their product. There is a good chance that you can be that person.

The first step in taking part in this opportunity is to find a product with available private label rights. As previously mentioned, this product is often an e-book or a software program. Before agreeing to purchase the resell rights to a private label product, you are advised to know what you are purchasing.  Not only will you want to make sure that the product is a quality one, but you will also need to make sure that it is one that will sell.  Since you will be purchasing the resell rights to this product, you will not want to waste your money on something that you cannot use.

As soon as you purchase the resell rights to a product you may be able to begin selling it; however, additional steps may need to be taken.  For instance, private label resell rights often require you to change the product, which you just purchased the resell rights to. This change is often minimal, but it is sometimes required. The last thing that you may want to do is alter a perfect product, but in a way it may be able to help you. After this alteration, you may be able to claim the product as your own. This means that you could officially be the author of an e-book or a software developer.

Once the additional steps, if any are required, are taken, you can then begin to sell your product.  Unfortunately, this is where many individuals go wrong. The only way that you will make money is if the product sells; therefore, you need to find and use an effective selling method.  There are a number of different methods that you can use; however, you may find your own website to be the most beneficial. This website can not only be used to provide information on your product, but it can also be used to purchase it.

When it comes to developing a website, there are many individuals who are unfamiliar with web design.  If you are one of those individuals, you will have a number of alternatives. One of those alternatives includes the assistance of a professional website developer or designer. For a fee, you should be able to have a professional design your website for you. If you are looking for a low-cost way to develop your own website, you are urged to choose a web hosting plan that includes a free site builder.

When building your website, you will want to add information on the product in which you are selling. If you are selling an e-book, you may not only want to give a description of your book, but a few samples. These samples, also often referred to as inserts, will allow your potential customers to determine whether or not your product is worth the buy. In addition to adding product descriptions, samples, and pictures, you will also want to add a shopping cart. This feature, provided by most web hosting companies, will allow you sell your product right off of your website.

For a small amount of money, you will have a way to not only sell your private label rights product, but market it as well. After you have created your website with proper search engine optimization, you will find that customers make their way to you, thanks to search engines.  In time, you should be able to sell your product and make a substantial profit. So get going now with your own private label rights business.

Sincerely, Debbie Ducker
